JOSEPH LENTS is a retired CPA/Auditor (Florida), with a BBA
degree in Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Management with over 30-years of auditing, business development
and management and 20-years of Credit Repair experience.
He founded The National Association of Credit Union
Supervisory and Auditing Committees (NACUSAC), the only National
Association set up to help the Supervisory Committees for Credit Unions fulfill
their audit responsibilities and work with the Credit Union’s Auditors.
He was a Co-Founder and Partner in the CPA
Firm of NEARMAN and LENTS,
CPAs during the years of 1978 to 1995, that audited ONLY Credit Unions. He was responsible for client development and
established the National Supervisory Committee Conference that was for Credit
Union Supervisory Committee members. He
helped the CPA firm grow from ONE Credit Union client in 1978 to over 100
clients and one of the largest Credit Unions only auditing firms in the United
States. Credit Union clients included
IBM, Honeywell, Lockheed-Martin, Pratt-Whitney, Gold Coast FCU, Miami-Dade
County Schools, Broward County Schools, Pratt-Whitney, Tyndall AFB, Homestead
AFB, Miami-Dade Fireman CU, Miami-Dade Police CU, Tropical Telco, McCoy FCU,
and Navy Orlando FCU to name a few.
From 1970 to 1978, prior to starting his CPA
Credit Union auditing firm, he was a volunteer for 8 years and Chairman of
Supervisory Committee for three Credit Unions.
He served as a volunteer on the three Supervisory Committees while serving
as an Officer in the United States Air Force and later as a GS-12 with the Air
Force Audit Agency at Air Force bases in Sacramento, California, Oscoda,
Michigan and Homestead, Florida.
His Work History from 1997 to the present has
helped individuals fix their credit and since 2007 been as a Financial and
Credit Repair Advisor for both Freedom Credit Solutions and The Credit Repair Authority, having
the responsibility for all Marketing of the Credit Repair Services to the
Credit Union Industry, Real-Estate and Mortgage Industries, as well as the
general public.
He has been a Consultant and/or Advisor to
various Companies for over 20 years, including Real Estate companies during
years of 1995 through 2015. During those
years, he assisted several Law Firms as an accountant and researcher with
Foreclosure Defense attorneys for homeowners facing Foreclosure in the State of
Florida. Providing Research, Loan
Analysis, Mortgage Reviews, Mergers & Acquisitions, Financial Statement
Analysis, Business Planning and various other financial Services, including FREE Credit Repair to the thousands of Foreclosure
Clients.
He has written numerous articles for the
Supervisory Committee that has appeared in National Credit Union
Magazines. He was also written up in the
New York Times in June 1990, for taking the “First and Only” auditing
Company owned by a CPA Firm public in the U.S.A.
