ISVs will have access to dedicated technical resources who understand the complexities of application development, an ISV developer portal with Software Development Kits, Sample Source Code, and interactive forums. “The dedicated technical expertise combined with the resources resident in the Zebra ISV developer portal will enable Apacheta to continue providing seamless integration of our mobile software with Zebra products, reducing implementation concerns and ultimately enhancing our value to the customer,” said Don Grust, CEO of Apacheta.
Through the new program, ISVs can leverage Zebra’s reseller channel and global sales resources, as well as global alliance partnerships that include Motorola, IBM, Oracle and SAP. “The technology we built and are bringing to the market with Zebra is in a lot of ways a first of its’ kind,” said David Green, Motorola, senior director, WW Channel Solutions Readiness & Alliances at Motorola. “When you have one good idea with the right hardware and an innovative ISV solution, you have the recipe for something that works and is repeatable and profitable in today’s marketplace.”
